Scout Records

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Scout Records was the first relatively short-lived record label operated by the concert and tour organizers Horst Lippmann and Fritz Rau in the late 1960s , before they founded their label L + R Records in 1979 .

A total of seven albums with blues recordings were released on the Scout label , including three samplers, a solo album by Howlin 'Wolf guitarist Hubert Sumlin , the (federal) German edition of JB Lenoir's first solo album and the recordings by American Folk Blues Festivals in 1969 and 1970. A triple LP with recordings from the German Jazz Festival Frankfurt 1970 was also released there.
