Scraper
Scraper means:
- in construction
- Granier steel or rocking iron, a tool for processing copperplate engravings
- Motor scrapers or scrapers, a heavy construction machine for moving earth
- in computer science
- Screen scraping , a process for reading out texts and data from computer screens or websites (hence also web scraping)
- A data scraper is a computer program that collects data from various sources and makes it available centrally.
- A log scraper collects log files from different computers in a network.
- A scraper site is a website or blog that copies the content of other websites, blogs or feeds. Usually nothing is created on a scraper page itself.
