from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Secure Plus is a private security service provider in Lebanon . It is the largest of dozens of private security companies founded in Lebanon in 2007 as part of US Middle East policy. The currently at least 3000 employees are mainly poor Sunnis in the northern part of the country. Her work includes guarding shops, offices of the Future Movement and patrolling Sunni neighborhoods.

In terms of personnel, the company is aligned with a Sunni militia that is closely related to Saad Hariri 's future movement and may have been founded by it. In the spring of 2008 this fought, mostly in West Beirut, with Hezbollah and the Amal militia . The conflict with Hezbollah escalated in May 2008 when the US-backed government declared Hezbollah's private communications system illegal. This, however, drove the fighters of the future movement / Secure through the heavier armament and better morale and closed a number of offices of the party.
