Konrad Kleiner
KONRAD KLEINER GmbH is a medium-sized specialist wholesaler based in Mindelheim (Unterallgäu district). It trades in products from the areas of steel, building services, hardware, building supplies and tools. Further locations are in Kempten (Allgäu) , Kaufbeuren and Ulm .
The company was founded in 1853. In 1999 the company received the Rudolf Egerer Prize for special merits in vocational training. Konrad Kleiner currently employs around 500 people (as of 2008) and has an annual turnover of around 160 million euros (as of 2012).
The logistics division has a fleet of around 50 trucks, a central high-bay warehouse with 15,000 pallet spaces and a 10,000 m² outdoor warehouse . Around 60,000 items from 2000 different suppliers are kept in stock there at all times.
Konrad Kleiner belongs to the building materials trade cooperation Eurobaustoff .
