The future movement ( Arabic تيار المستقبل Tayyār al-Mustaqbal , French Courant du Futur ) is a political movement in Lebanon led by Saad al-Hariri , the younger son of the murdered former Prime Minister of Lebanon Rafiq al-Hariris .

Officially, the party is economically liberal and capitalist . She is also pro-Western and anti-Syrian, and protested against the Syrian occupation of Lebanon . Until 2011, the future movement dominated the country's political system .

The movement was founded in 1992, officially in August 2007. It was not until April 5, 2009, however, that the movement was officially declared a political party.

In the penultimate parliamentary elections in May and June 2005 , the party with 36 seats was the most important faction on the Rafiq Hariri Martyrs list to win these elections.
