The pier in Göhren (2009)

The Göhren pier is a pier in Göhren on the island of Rügen .

The bridge is 350 meters long, 270 meters of which protrude into the Baltic Sea . The structure was erected in 1993. Through the traditional, white-painted and green-roofed bridge house, you enter the wooden-planked bridge, at the end of which excursion boats can dock.

A 1002 meter long pier was built in 1898 on Göhren's southern beach. This was demolished during the First World War. Since 1912 there was a 126 meter long pier on Göhrener Nordstrand, the guests were brought to the jetty by disembarking. In 1934, a 450 meter long bridge was built at the same place; this was still in use until the early 1950s.
