The Seifert Logistics Group is an international, medium-sized family company in the field of transport and logistics services . The family company was founded in 1947 by Franz X. Seifert in Ehingen / Berg near Ulm.

Company history

In 1947 Franz X. Seifert laid the foundation stone for today's Seifert Logistics Group in Ehingen (Danube). Harald Seifert joined the family business in 1976.

In 1989 the first location in East Germany was opened in Zorbau .

In 1999 the headquarters moved from Ehingen to Ulm. Seifert Polsk was founded.

The largest single project in the company's history was at the Malsch site in 2011 .

In 2012 the Seifert Logistics Group employed 500 people. The “Eco Performance Award” was won in 2013, in 2015 the second place of the “European Transport Prize for Sustainability” awarded by the magazine Transport . The Seifert logistics center in Ulm North was opened in 2014.

The Seifert Logistics Group employs 1900 people (2018).
