Selva de Mar is an underground station on the Barcelona Metro . It is located in the Sant Martí district . The station is served by metro line 4 . You can change to four bus lines as well as tram line 4 of the Trambesòs at the aboveground stop.
The station was put into operation in 1977 when the eastern extension of line 4 was opened. At that time this was extended from the Barceloneta station to Selva de Mar. Until 1982 it was the eastern terminus of line 4.
