Brest-Roc Trédudon transmission tower

The transmission tower Brest-Roc Trédudon is a 220 meter high transmission tower on the Roc Trédudon near Brest in France, which consists of a free-standing steel framework with directional antennae on which a guyed steel framework mast stands. It was completed in 1974 and broadcasts FM and TV programs.

The Brest-Roc Trédudon transmission tower is one of the few towers with a free-standing tower as a substructure and a guyed transmission mast at the top.

Up to February 1974 there was a second antenna carrier in the form of a guyed transmission mast, but this was destroyed in an assassination attempt.
