Sendo [ ˈsɛndəʊ ] was a British telecommunications company founded in 1998 in Birmingham . It had representations in many European countries as well as Brazil, Mexico and Singapore.

Sendo was particularly focused on cell phones. The company became known primarily through the “Sendo X” smartphone and the previous legal dispute with Microsoft regarding the “Z 100 Windows Smartphone”.

On June 29, 2005, bankruptcy protection was requested. At the same time, Motorola announced that it had acquired more than 90 patents and the entire 200-strong development team.

Products

The M550 mobile phone has meanwhile been sold by Aldi as the " Tevion MD 7300".
