Septimius Nilus
Septimius Nilus (his praenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 3rd century AD .
An inscription found at the Cilurnum fort , dated October 30, 221, shows that Nilus Praefectus equitum was the Ala II Asturum , stationed in the province of Britannia . Another inscription was found near Cilurnum, in which Nilus is listed.
