Sequester (right)
The sequester keeps a thing deposited with him for several people .
After the legal disputes between the depositing persons have been concluded, the sequester should surrender the matter to whoever is entitled to it.
In the context of foreclosure , the sequester acts as a trustee for the debtor (as his representative) - unlike the bailiff for the creditor. The sequestration only extends to movable objects.
It is incumbent on the judicial officer to appoint the responsible sequester (§ § 848 Abs. 1 ZPO , § 938 Abs. 2 ZPO).
