Jacques de Loustal
Jacques de Loustal alias Loustal (born April 10, 1956 in Neuilly-sur-Seine ) is a French comic artist .
Life
Loustal studied architecture in Paris and met Philippe Paringaux during his studies , with whom he has been working since 1980. He also spent a long time in Africa, doing his military service in Morocco . Loustal worked for the magazines Métal Hurlant and Pilote , among others .
In 1997 he received the Prix international de la Ville de Genève pour la bande dessinée for his book Kid Congo .
