Sergio Avila
Sergio Gabriel Avila Valle (born September 2, 1985 in Irapuato , Guanajuato ) is a Mexican football player who is usually used in midfield. The footballer, also known by the nickname Gaucho, has played in the youth teams of Chivas Guadalajara , for which he is currently still under contract.
He made his professional debut in the Mexican Primera División on May 1, 2005 in an away game for the Chivistas against local rivals UAG Tecos , based in neighboring Zapopan , which Chivas won 3-2. His first goal in a tournament in the first division of Mexico was in the quarter-finals of the Clausura 2006 against the Jaguares de Chiapas .
