Server-to-server

Server-to-server (also S2S or Interserver ) is a technical aspect of network protocols , which describes an extension of the classic client-server model , in which parts of the protocol only concern the data exchange between servers .

Interserver extensions often meet data distribution needs, which is why multicast routing is an often desired property.
