Servius Cornelius (Scipio) Salvidienus Orfitus was a Roman politician and senator and came from a patrician family. During the reign of Claudius he was treasurer . In 51 he became a full consul at the emperor's side, but was replaced later in the year by other suffect consuls . Probably 62/63 he was proconsul of the province of Africa . Aquilius Rufus charged him in the Senate, whereupon he was convicted and probably executed on Nero's orders . His son's name was alsoServius Cornelius Scipio Salvidienus Orfitus .
