Seyed (full name Seyed Mohammad Sascha Edalat-Pur , * 1994 in Bielefeld ) is a German rapper from Wiesbaden .

Career

The Iranian-born rapper became known through the rapper Kollegah . From 2015 they could be seen several times in joint internet videos and Seyed was represented as support on the Redlight Tour by Kollegah in spring 2016. In March 2016, Kollegah announced the founding of his own label Alpha Music Empire and signed Seyed as the first musician.

The first single released on March 22, 2016 Seyed the song MP5 turn with Kollegah as a guest. It entered the German charts and the video reached almost 4.3 million views on YouTube in one month (after one year almost 10.5 million). MP5 was a pre-release from the album Engel with AK , released on June 3, 2016 . The album reached number 3 in the German album charts.

The second studio album, Cold Summer , was released on August 18, 2017 . This reached number 4 on the German album charts.

On January 7, 2019, the label announced that Seyed's contract had not been renewed. On July 12, 2019, Seyed released Paragraph 84, the first single of his third studio album Engel with AK 2 , which was released on January 24, 2020.
