The Seyitler Dam ( Turkish Seyitler Barajı ) is located 20 km east of the provincial capital Afyonkarahisar in the province of the same name .
The Seyitler dam was built in 1961–1964 on the Seyitler Deresi, a left tributary of the Akarçay . It is used to irrigate an area of 3222 ha. The barrier structure is a 25.5 m high embankment dam . The dam volume is 650,000 m³. The reservoir covers an area of 4.5 km² with normal damming. The storage space is 38 million m³.
