Sfera (exchange service)
Sfera (Russian Сфера ) is a non-governmental organization in Nizhny Novgorod that organizes and mediates volunteer work in Russia and abroad.
history
The organization was founded in 2007 as a result of the »Sfera« movement .
It organizes and arranges work assignments for volunteers from Russia and abroad in various regions of Russia. These are help in children's holiday camps, the maintenance of public green spaces, renovation work in schools, monuments and other places and more. Every year around 15 such job opportunities are taught. Sfera also arranges missions for Russian volunteers abroad every year.
The organization is a partner of several international organizations such as the Coordinating Committee of International Voluntary Service of UNESCO, the Alliance of European Voluntary Service organizations, the Service Civil International , the Erasmus program , International Youth Community Services , and others.
In 2016, Sfera was registered with the Russian Ministry of Justice as an “ organization acting as a foreign agent ”.
