Sferisterio by Macerata
The Sferisterio of Macerata was originally a Pallone venue ( Sferisterio ). It is located in Piazza Mazzini in the old town of Macerata and was built between 1819 and 1829 by the architect Ireneo Aleandri . The Sferisterio Opera Festival is held here every year .
