Shōgo Sakurai ( Japanese 桜 井 鐘 吾 Sakurai Shōgo ; born April 3, 1984 in Kyoto Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Sakurai learned to play soccer on the Kyoto Purple Sanga youth team . He signed his first contract with Mito HollyHock in 2003 . The club played in the second highest league in the country, the J2 League . For the club he completed eight league games. He then played with Grulla Morioka , Sagawa Printing and FC Kyoto Bamb . At the end of 2008 he ended his career as a football player.
