The Shōnan Monorail ( Japanese 湘南 モ ノ レ ー ル , Shōnan Monorēru ) from the company of the same name is a suspension railway in the Japanese city of Kamakura built according to the SAFEGE system . The train was after a test in Yokohama was successful after two years on March 7, 1970 opened. The train consists only of the Enoshima line.
Route
The train initially ran between the Ōfuna station and the Nishi-Kamakura terminus .
