description

The Shafra has a single-edged blade that is slightly curved downwards. The blade is from the booklet to narrow and is on Ortbereich slightly bent downwards. The back of the blade is straight and reinforced. The booklet is usually made of metal and decorated with geometric patterns. The Shafra is traditionally worn on the back, below the wide belt of the Jambia . It is used by Bedouin tribes in Arabia.
