Shahriyar ( Persian شهريار Schahreyār even Shahryar , Schahrijar or Schahriyār written; known by other names as ' Alī Schāh 'Avaẕ and Ali Schāh' Iwaz ) is a city in Iran and the capital of theShahriyar administrative district in the Tehran Province . At the 2006 census, Shahriyar had a population of 189,120, divided among 51,814 families.
