Shanganagh House

Shanganagh House ( Irish Teach Sheangánaí ), later also called Shanganagh Park , is a country house in Shankill , a suburb of the Irish capital Dublin .

The Georgian style house was built for William Hopper around 1823 . The Darcy brewing family and the racehorse breeder Frank Field also lived there later . In 1970 the Dublin County Council bought the house, which is now a community house and is surrounded by administrative buildings from the late 1970s.
