Sharon Colman

Sharon Colman (born July 20, 1978 in Balloch , Scotland ) is a British director of animation films.

She studied illustration at the Glasgow School of Art while working as a waitress. after completing her studies in 2000 as an inbetweener for the director Matthew Hood at the National Film and Television School , which she attended from 2004 to 2005. Her seven-minute graduation film, Badgered , was shown at the Cannes International Film Festival , among others , and was nominated for an Oscar in the category of Best Animated Short in 2006. The film is about a badger who wants to be left alone by the world and sleep.
