The SHARP IQ-8920G from Sharp was an electronic organizer ( available in Germany) ( 1995 ).
history
With its technical features (LC sensor display with pen operation and full QWERTY keyboard), the IQ8920G from Sharp initiated a final transition from programmable pocket calculators to new types of microcomputers with a graphical user interface GUI . The pioneer for this development was the Sharp IQ-7720 organizer , which was still equipped with a separate display / touchscreen (which overlaid printed expansion cards). The IQ-8920G combined operation in a central 240 × 160 dot matrix liquid crystal display with touch screen .
