The Shougang Group is a Chinese steel group that is one of the largest steel producers in the world. In 2018, the Shougang Group was the tenth largest steel producing company in the world with 27.34 million tons of steel produced.
The group of companies has expanded its business activities to include various areas outside of steel production. Among other things, the group offers financial services and is active in the real estate business and urban development. The Chinese Hua Xia Bank was founded in 1992 as the Shougang Group's house bank . Shougang remains the largest shareholder in the bank.
