Show Me The Money

Show Me The Money (short: SMTM / Korean: 쇼 미더 머니 Syomi Deo Meoni) is a South Korean rap competition show that is broadcast on Mnet . The show's popularity has grown steadily since the first season was broadcast in 2012 until the last season in 2019. It is even credited that the South Korean public's interest in hip hop has grown.

When Show Me The Money first aired in 2012, that show was the only one on South Korean television that focused solely on hip-hop. SMTM was the first hip-hop show Mnet aired after " Hip Hop the Vibe" was canceled in 2004. The format of each season varies, but generally consists of participants who face a series of challenges until there is only one rapper left. The show features a mix of novice and seasoned rappers, with the seasoned rappers typically acting as "producers", being both mentors and judges.
