Showdown Records is a German independent label that is active in the hip-hop sector. Showdown Records was founded in 1998 by Andreas Herbig, Andreas Kebernik and René Goldenbeld.
1998-2003
From 1998 to 2003 the Showdown Records label released 91 albums, singles and EPs by the artists Deichkind , Square One , Mr. Schnabel , Chosen Few and Luke & Swift. The label ceased operations in 2003 and took a break.
Since 2013
Around July 2013 the label, which has meanwhile moved from Hamburg to Berlin, resumed label work and has been releasing music by new artists since then.
In 2014 Showdown Records released the album Ersatzverkehr by producer Figub Brazlevič .
