Figub Brazlevič

Figub Brazlevič (born February 9, 1983 in Tübingen ) is a German hip hop producer , concert organizer (East-West Sessions) and one of the founders of the music label "Krekpek Records".

Life

Brazlevič's father comes from Bosnia , his mother from Germany. He grew up in Tuttlingen .

Brazlevič produces music that is part of the hip-hop genre. The producer, who grew up in the " golden era " of hip-hop, is inspired by influences from other musical genres and uses samples from various musical styles such as jazz , funk , soul , but also synthesizers and other musical elements can be found in his pieces. The mixing and mastering an important part of his work, he likes to describe itself as a sound designer.

In 2012 he and Benne Basquiat started the monthly event East-West Sessions in Berlin, a jam session with live musicians and DJ elements. At irregular intervals, especially for the numerous events in cooperation with partner HHV.de, 7 "singles, on which various protagonists can be found, were produced in limited numbers of 300 each and distributed to the guests.

In addition to his own productions, Brazlevič also works with other music producers. He released albums with groups like Man of Booom and MoonTroop. Recordings have been released on the music labels Sichtexot, VinDig and Showdown Records as well as Krekpek Records, which he founded in 2016 together with Benne Basquiat.

Brazlevič currently lives in Berlin .
