Shubert Theater
Shubert Theater are called, or were called, a number of the Shubert Organization theaters in the United States. At the beginning of the 20th century, they were played in central planning by the theater company of the same name.
history
In its prime, this operation included more than 1,000 venues across the United States. Touring troops played across North America with successful pieces such as Sigmund Romberg's The Student Prince (1924). It was here that elements of commercial theater production such as tryout performances developed.
Today some buildings with this name still remain, some of which are still owned by the foundation. The so-called Shubert Theater on Broadway is still operated by the Shubert Organization.
