Shuna ( Scottish Gaelic Siùna ) is an island of the Slate Islands in the Scottish Archipelago of the Inner Hebrides . The name is composed of an unexplained prefix and old Scandinavian "ey", island. It is privately owned.

Perhaps the three Shuna swords from the Late Bronze Age were found on the island around 1875 . The island is home to the smallest wood shrews in Scotland.
