Sibu congkan

Sìbù Cóngkān (Chinese 四部 丛刊 / 四部 叢刊), abbreviation SBCK , is a famous Chinese congshu (compilation). It was edited and published by the Commercial Press (商務印書館, Shāngwù Yìnshūguǎn ).

It was compiled by Zhāng Yuánjì 張 元 濟 / 张 元 济 (1867–1959) and others. The compilation contains photolithographic reproductions of the best editions of important older works from Chinese literature and history. The works are in it according to the Sìbù (四部) - d. H. the four traditional divisions of a Chinese library . Karl Lo prepared a catalog for the collection.

Sibu congkan zhengbian

The first series (Zhèngbiān 正 編) appeared in 1922 and contains 324 works (including the Bǎinà 百 納 edition of the 24 dynasty stories).

Sibu congkan xubian

The second series (Xùbiān 續編) with 77 additional works appeared in 1934.

Sibu congkan sanbian

The third series Sānbiān 三 編 with a further 71 works appeared in 1936.
