SicherheitPraxis is a trade journal for installers, experts, planning offices and system houses for security technology. It first appeared in 2011 in the security specialist publisher Heide & Klaus, which also publishes the specialist journal Security insight and changed its name to ProSecurity Publishing GmbH & Co. KG in April 2013. The specialist editor is Dr. Henning Salié, publishing director Ilse Klaus.

SicherheitPraxis is the only specialist journal in German-speaking countries that focuses purposefully and exclusively on the information needs of this very specific core target group. The magazine conveys well-founded specialist knowledge about current products, systems, technologies as well as hardware and software, it sharpens the senses for holistic solutions and their connection to other trades and shows ways of putting them into practice.
