Denninger Straße-Warthestraße settlement
The Denninger Straße-Warthestraße settlement is a settlement in Munich .
location
The settlement is located in the Denning district of Munich in the 13 Bogenhausen district between Denninger Strasse and Warthestrasse. In the south it borders on Denninger Anger , in the west on the green belt of Tangente 5-Ost .
history
The settlement was built from 1967, the developer was the Munich Reinsurance Company .
description
The settlement extends over an area of around 2 hectares. There are three eight-storey high-rise buildings on Denninger Strasse with a floor area of around 20 × 25 m. Warthestrasse runs from Denninger Strasse about 100 m to the south, then turns west and then runs parallel to Denninger Strasse. From this section of Warthestrasse, three rows of four-storey houses extend offset to the high-rise buildings in the direction of Denninger Strasse. The space between the skyscrapers and the rows of houses is designed as a park with lawn, bushes and trees. In one group of shops there is a supermarket, a restaurant and medical practices.
Since the Denning district is otherwise characterized by predominantly two-story single houses with a garden and the settlement borders on green spaces in the west and east, the high-rise buildings of the settlement have a dominant effect on the surrounding area.
