The Siegenia Group is a German company with headquarters in Wilnsdorf-Niederdielfen.
Siegenia-Aubi KG produces and supplies a comprehensive portfolio of products and systems that give room comfort. This includes hardware technology for windows and balcony doors as well as motor and sensor technology for the automation of ventilation and building technology. The range is complemented by door locking systems from the subsidiary KFV Karl Fliether GmbH & Co. KG as well as burglar protection and window repair solutions from SASS - Siegenia-Aubi Sicherheits-Service GmbH.
history
In 1914, Wilhelm Jäger founded the Kaan-Marienborn pressing and stamping plant. The company initially manufactured container bases for the apparatus construction industry based in Siegerland . In 1919 his son-in-law Adolf Frank took over the company and geared the product portfolio to small hardware and fittings for the German furniture industry. In addition, patents were developed for ventilation sashes and turn-tilt fittings.
In 1937 it was converted into the limited partnership Jäger, Frank & Co. KG. Adolf Frank became the sole managing partner. With the reconstruction after the Second World War and the strong demand for construction elements, Gerhard Frank, the founder's grandson, developed the company from 1950 into one of the hardware suppliers for the window trade and industry. The Siegenia trademark was registered with the Patent Office in 1955. The company was renamed Siegenia-Frank KG in 1970.
Wieland Frank, great-grandson of Wilhelm Jäger, took over management of the company in 1988. Under his leadership, Siegenia became a provider of products and systems for room comfort. In 1998 he acquired shares in Aubi Baubeschläge GmbH, a manufacturer of fittings technology. In 2003 the two companies merged under the common name Siegenia-Aubi. In 2004 Siegenia-Aubi Sicherheits-Service GmbH was founded, which focuses on products and services for burglary protection and window repairs. Two years later, Siegenia took over KFV Karl Fliether GmbH & Co. KG in Velbert, whose main business area is locking systems for doors.
