The victory case is a waterfall of victory in Schladern in the North Rhine-Westphalian municipality of Windeck . At a width of 84 m, the water falls about 4 m deep. In the panorama view below, the Sieg flows in from the south. In the past, the riverbed continued to the north. Since the breakthrough, it has been turning west.

The waterfall was created between 1857 and 1859 during the construction of the Deutz-Gießener Railway . In addition, the victory was straightened several times. The loop, which also flowed directly below Windeck Castle , fell largely dry due to the breach. The Elmore's works , specializing in electroplating, use hydropower and provided also Schladern with electric current. In 1995 the company was sold to Kabelmetal (now KM Europa Metal ). Since 2006 a new investor has taken over the old factory building. The hydropower plant is still in operation.

In 2007 a canoe died here after being pushed underwater by a vortex.
