Sien (Burkina Faso)

Sien , (also Sién or Sion ) is a village in Burkina Faso , in the Boucle du Mouhoun region , the Nayala province and the Toma department . Sien is located on the southern edge of the Sahel and has around 850 inhabitants.

The Sièn Weg in Aukrug

There has been a collaboration with the community of Aukrug in Schleswig-Holstein since 1991, which was sealed in 1997 with an official friendship and partnership agreement. Since 1994, the association Aukrug-Sien eV has been supporting both communities in perceiving partnership relationships and realizing projects. In 2018, a street was dedicated as Sièn Weg in a new building area .
