Sigma Art Series
Sigma Art is a line of camera lens products from the Japanese company Sigma . So far 17 lenses of the Art product line (marked: [A]) have appeared.
history
In 2012, Sigma exhibited at photokina u. a. the new Art product line. Together with the Contemporary and Sports series, these are aimed at professional photographers. According to the manufacturer, in the future all newly released lenses will be grouped into these three product lines so that it is possible to see directly which lens is suitable for which type of photography.
properties
The lenses of the Art product line are designed for artistic photos and, according to the manufacturer, are particularly suitable for landscapes , portraits , still lifes , close-ups and snapshots . The lenses are characterized by a large aperture , which makes them suitable for both studio and outdoor photography. The Art line consists of different types of lenses such as fixed focal lengths , wide-angle , ultra- wide-angle and macro lenses.
