Sigmund Løvåsen
Sigmund Løvåsen (born August 16, 1977 in Trysil , Norway ) is a Norwegian writer .
Life
Sigmund Løvåsen studied literature at the University of Bø and the University of Oslo and literary design at the University of Gothenburg . He made his debut as a writer in 2003 with the novel Nyryddinga . The story of 10-year-old Geir, who lives with his parents as a sheep farmer on a farm and dreams of a better world, was a great success with critics. So Løvåsen was both the Tarjei-Vesaas debutant price and the Novel Prize of the P2 listeners excellent. The sequel followed in 2006 with his second novel Brakk and a third novel in 2009 with Mamsell Iversen . All three books were also published in German as translated by Frank Zuber .
