Signium International is a global HR consultancy with the core business executive search, i. H. filling vacant management positions in companies. There are currently 44 locations in 28 countries, in addition to Executive Search, Signium is active in other business areas. Signium International is one of the top 10 executive search providers worldwide, and the company also ranks among the strongest competitors in terms of sales in its branch on the German market.
Signium International is a founding member of the AESC (Association of Executive Search Consultants), which has been in existence since 1959 and which defines and controls industry standards.

history
Signium International has its origins in the company "Ward Howell International", which was established in 1951. Founded by Henry Warwell Howell , formerly a director of McKinsey, the company was one of the first consulting companies to focus exclusively on the executive search sector. The establishment of the American company was followed by an expansion phase with the establishment of international branches.
The partnership in Germany was established in 1978 with the establishment of offices in Düsseldorf and Munich. In 1999, the existing structures were changed to the new brand name Signium International. An office in Cologne has been expanding the company's presence on the German market since 2012.
Business areas
Executive Search: Using direct approach to executives, the search for candidates (m / f) is carried out in this business area who correspond to the experience and qualification profile desired by the client. Filling management positions at home and abroad is the core business of Signium International.
Interim management: The term interim management is understood to mean the placement and coordination of executives who carry out management activities in companies for a limited period of time. Such a service is often requested in situations in which short-term problem-solving skills from outside are important (e.g. reorganizations, generation changes, process optimization, takeovers).
Supervisory boards: In addition to the search for executives in the operational area, Signium International is active in the area of assessing and filling supervisory boards.
Management audits and coaching: A management audit is an assessment of the performance and personality variables of executives. Signium International is active in the implementation of corresponding projects and in the area of personnel development with executive coaching.
