Sigrid Lude

Sigrid Lude (* around 1935) is a German former world champion in typing and non-fiction author .

Life

Due to the events of the war, Sigrid Lude only had a minimal school education. In addition to simple office work, she trained to become a state-certified teacher for shorthand and typing . At the age of sixteen she was a Southwest German junior typist in typing; In 1963 she became world champion for the first time in Prague , followed by titles in 1965 in Paris , 1967 in Bern and 1969 in Warsaw , where she achieved her fourth world championship on an IBM machine in 30-minute fast typing with 716 characters per minute. As early as 1963, thanks to her success, she became an advertising medium for IBM typewriters.

She received numerous honors and also appeared in the television program Zum Blaue Bock . Sigrid Lude has written several specialist books, worked as a state-certified business correspondent in French, English, and Spanish and still carries out keyboard training on the PC in Esslingen am Neckar .
