Simon Hausberger

Simon Hausberger (* 1975 in Hopfgarten im Brixental ) is an Austrian photographer .

Career

Hausberger, who lived in Munich for several years , has been working as a freelance photographer since 1998. At the beginning of his activity, his main focus was travel photography (focus on Asia, Australia and Northern Europe) for picture agencies and the sale of posters and art prints.

Simon Hausberger now covers almost all areas of photography. However, his work focuses on sports, reportage, business, portrait, event, nature and landscape photography. An essential part of his work is fine art photography as well as the production of images and large-format panoramas.

Awards

  • 2010: Gold medal at the 24th Trierenberg Super Circuit in the Sports Action and Movement category
  • 2013: Honorable Mention at the International Photography Awards in Los Angeles in the Nature and Fine Art category .
  • 2015: Bronze camera honored at the European Professional Photographer of the Year Award . He received the award for his photo series of puffins in Norway.
  • 2016: Golden Camera at the European Professional Photographer of the Year Award in the Sport category.
