Simon Neuberg

Simon Neuberg (* 1961 in Casablanca ) is a French Yiddist .

Life

He was trained as a conference interpreter at the University of Paris III and graduated from the École supérieure d'interprètes et de traducteurs in 1986 . Since his formal Yiddish studies in Trier (1995 PhD , 1999 Habilitation Author - Setter - Text, Paths to the History of Yiddish Vocabulary ) since 2002 he has been teaching as a professor for Yiddish studies at the University of Trier . Together with Marion Aptroot , he organizes the annual symposium for Yiddish studies in Germany .
