Simon Richardson (cyclist, 1983)

Simon Richardson (born June 21, 1983 in Bristol ) is a retired British cyclist .

Simon Richardson was the 2004 British runner-up in cyclocross in the U23 class. The next year he won a stage at the Bikeline Two Days and in 2006 he won the overall standings there. In 2008 Richardson drove for the British Plowman Craven Racing Team . In his first year there, he won the fifth stage of the FBD Insurance Rás . In 2009 he won the overall ranking of this stage race for the Rapha Condor team .

At the end of the 2012 season he ended his active career.

Since 2014 he has moderated the online video contributions of the Global Cycling Network together with Daniel Lloyd , Tom Last and Matthew Stephens .
