Simone Lichtenstein

Simone Lichtenstein (* 1981 in Rostock ) is a German singer with a soprano voice . She is Romelia Lichtenstein's niece .

Life and artistic work

Her musical training began at the age of 11, studying piano at the Rostock Conservatory. From the age of 17 she received singing lessons from Rosemarie Christmann . From 2000 to 2001 she studied singing with Sabine Stolpe (Magdeburg), then until 2005 with Gisela Burkhard-Mühlbach (Dresden), followed by postgraduate studies in opera with Margret Trappe-Wiel (Dresden). She also took the song class with Olaf Bär and took master classes with Penka Christova . In spring 2009 Simone Lichtenstein completed her studies with the soloist exam. In the same year she won the international singing competition at the Rheinsberg Castle Chamber Opera.

Simone Lichtenstein has made guest appearances at the Dresden State Operetta , the Rostock Volkstheater , the Saxony State Theaters and the Kassel State Theater. She is a permanent member of the ensemble at the Braunschweig State Theater . There she worked u. a. with in Wiener Blut as Franziska Cagliari, in Fidelio as Marzelline, in Orlando paladino as Angelica, in Carmen as Frasquita, in Fledermaus as Adele, in A Midsummer Night's Dream as Helena, in Falstaff as Nannetta, in Turandot as Liù, in the Magic Flute as Pamina and in Orpheus and Eurydice as Eurydice. In addition to her stage presence, the artist also dedicates herself to the song. In this regard, she sang at the Handel Festival in Halle.
