The Simonhöhe is a ski area in the municipality of Sankt Urban (Federal State of Carinthia ) with around 13 kilometers of slopes, some of which are artificially snowed and avalanche-proof.

Because of its central location and accessibility, the Simonhöhe is also popular with local skiers and snowboarders.

In March 2010, the operating company had to file for bankruptcy due to bad investments and some winters with little snow. In the following August, the compulsory settlement was accepted after the state of Carinthia took over the majority of the liabilities. The continued existence for the coming years is assured, but the only four-seater chairlift (Hirschkogellift) had to be dismantled and sold.

The pommel lift is also well suited for small skiers

Lifts and slopes

The Paulsberglift (drag lift, 650 m) serves the Paulsberg and Sonnenabfahrt. With the Hocheck lift, it is the most important feeder.

The second feeder is the Hocheck lift (drag lift, 540 m), which serves the fun park and the Hocheck run.

The Simonlift (drag lift, 300 m) serves the only longer black run. There is no snowmaking. The lift is no longer operated.

The Bärental lift (drag lift, 900 m) is the second longest ski lift on the Simonhöhe and serves the Bärental run.

The Mulden lift (pommel lift, 300 m) is an addition between the Paulsberg lift and the Bärental lift. Usually not operated but could be snowed

The Sonnenlift (pommel lift, 400 m) is opposite the Paulsberglift but starts a little further up.

The Nordlift (drag lift, 1200 m) is the longest lift with the longest descent.
