The Sint Adriaanskerk is the Protestant parish church of Dreischor , a district of the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland in the Dutch province of Zeeland . The church belongs to a Reformed congregation within the Protestant Church in the Netherlands and is Rijksmonument under number 11162.

history

The choir, which is closed on five sides , was consecrated to St. Adrian of Nicomedia until the Reformation was introduced and was built at the end of the 14th century . In the course of the 15th century the tower, the nave and the south aisle were built. The aisle closes on three sides, and in the southwest corner there is a vaulted baptistery. Around 1550, a sacristy was built in the corner of the aisle and choir , the unusual design of which has a three-sided end in the south. A side chapel was added to the north of the nave. There is also a modern sacristy here.
