Superior petrosal sinus

The superior petrosal sinus is one of the venous blood conductors of the brain . It creates the connection between the cavernous sinus and the transverse sinus . It runs along the upper edge of the temporal bone along the cerebellar tent , above the inferior petrosal sinus .
